Your tiens on clamp are too short for my two belts. I took a 12 gauge copper wire and flattened it and used as shimso far that has held. Bought a 12$ belt from Ross which is only 38” and used its buckle to repair my best belt. The belt from Ross was much thicker than my belts. Gave to a grandson along with belt buckle and he made a belt for his dad. So I am not pleased at all.

Although h my belt is just under 35mm wide I had to shave it slightly to fit this buckle. With this exception the buckle is perfect.
